Greetings!

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about visits to the office:

1.) Our current wait time for appointments is 6-8 weeks. Urgent requests will be accommodated as needed.

2.) Appointment referrals must be faxed or emailed to our office before an appointment will be scheduled. Appointments are not booked without a referral on file in our office.

3.) Our office does not offer virtual / phone appointments.

4.) The Ontario Ministry of Health is phasing out / canceling red and white OHIP cards and replacing them with photo cards. Without a valid OHIP card, patients are unable to receive provincially covered services. Find out more about switching to a photo ID OHIP card HERE.

ALL PATIENTS must bring a valid Health Card to your appointment.  Please arrive on time, as the office is fully booked and cannot accommodate walk-ins.  Please contact us 48 hours in advance by phone or email if you cannot keep your appointment; missed appointments will not be given priority re-booking. Your appointment may take 1.5 to 3 hours.

Patients arriving 10 minutes late or later will be re-booked.

Please note our contact email is used for clerical purposes and NOT for medical inquiries.  Please call our office with relevant medical concerns.  If this is an emergency, please call 911.  For general medical concerns, please contact your family doctor.  Patient emails directed specifically to Dr Greenwald will NOT receive a response.  To contact Dr Greenwald you must call the office for an appointment.

Making an appointment with Dr Greenwald – new patients need a referral to make an appointment to see Dr Greenwald.  The referral can come from your family doctor or a walk-in clinic.  If you are an existing patient but have not been to our office in more than 1 year, you will also need a new referral.

We are located on the North West corner of Finch Avenue West and Norfinch Drive, across from the Humber River Hospital.
